Sit down at the wheel, get a little messy, and walk away with a real piece of pottery you made yourself. Karen keeps every class small, unhurried, and open to complete beginners.

The what
An afternoon at the wheel in Karen's home studio — just you, or you and someone you love. A lovely gift, a different kind of date, or a few quiet hours making something real.
Karen packs up the studio and brings it to your community. Hand-building workshops made with retirement homes and care communities in mind — everyone pinches and coils their own little keepsake.
The how
Tell her who’s coming and what the occasion is. She replies personally with dates and details.
Afternoons at the studio, or a time that suits your group if Karen is coming to you.
Aprons on, hands in. Karen guides every step — no experience needed.
Your piece dries, gets glazed, and is kiln-fired — ready a couple of weeks later. Good pottery can’t be rushed.
Come and try
You are welcome to come and try throwing on the wheel in Karen's studio. It is a hands-on, unhurried experience — Karen will guide you through every step.
Plan to come back for your piece. You cannot take your piece home the same day — it needs to be fired and glazed in the kiln first. Once it's ready (usually a couple of weeks), Karen will let you know and you can come pick it up.
Maximum 2 people at a time, by request. Karen keeps it intimate — send her a note to set something up.
There's no online booking just yet — and honestly, Karen prefers it that way. Send her a note about what you have in mind and she'll reply personally with dates and details.
A few things worth mentioning in your note: how many of you there are, any dates you're hoping for, and whether it's for a special occasion. Your message goes straight to Karen — no mailing lists, no spam.
